A new tower, a new beat for Wandering Towers
The towers in Wandering Towers are already one of the most distinctive components in modern family gaming, but the Magic Tower is something else entirely. A new oversized tower with its own role in the rules, dropped into your existing copy of the base game to give the wizard race a new beat.
The Magic Tower is an expansion to Wandering Towers from designers Wolfgang Kramer and Michael Kiesling. It adds the titular Magic Tower (a special component with new gameplay rules) plus additional spell content tied specifically to its presence on the board. The expansion folds into the existing path and rondel without rewriting them.
What makes this expansion stand out, even in a family game line, is the physical presence of the new tower. Wandering Towers leans on the visual and tactile fun of stacking and moving towers, and the Magic Tower amplifies that core. You feel it on the table.
This is for Wandering Towers fans who want to extend the base game with new components rather than just new cards. If you already own the Spell Pack and want more variety, the Magic Tower is the next logical pickup. If you do not yet own the base game, start there.
Requires Wandering Towers (base game). Recommended for ages 8 and up; minimum two players for the Magic Tower mode itself.
