You have the sanctuary running. The dragons know where to roost. Now you are opening an academy, and the youngest wyrms need a place to learn.
Wyrmspan: Dragon Academy is the first expansion for Wyrmspan and requires the base game to play. It adds 80 new dragon cards, 75 new cave cards, 5 Dragon Guild tiles, 7 objective tiles, 25 training tokens, a new round tracker board, and a card tray. Designed by Connie Vogelmann with art by Clémentine Campardou.
The standout addition is the new round tracker. At the end of each round you face an income choice when you pass, which folds a small strategic commitment into what used to be a passive moment. Combined with the fledgling academy theme and the fresh dragons, it gives returning players something genuine to think about.
